ClipDeck is built to need as little of your data as possible. This page says plainly what that means in practice.
No accounts, no Instagram credentials
ClipDeck never asks you to sign in, not to this site and not to Instagram. There is no account system, so there is no password, email address or profile of yours stored anywhere.
What a pasted link triggers
When you paste a public Instagram link and press Download, that URL goes to our media resolver, a separate server from the one serving this page. It fetches the file from Instagram's CDN and returns a temporary signed download link. The link you pasted is not logged or stored once that request finishes.
Your Recent list stays on your device
The short history under the paste field lives in your browser's local storage, on your device only. It never reaches our servers, and clearing it, or clearing your browser data, removes it completely.
IP address and rate limiting
To keep the tool usable for everyone, requests are rate limited by IP address. That check happens in memory on the server handling your request. It is not written to a database and not shared with anyone.
No tracking cookies, no third-party analytics
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics scripts today. If that ever changes, this page will say so before it happens, not after.
