How this tool works
Paste a public profile or story link, or just type the username. We look up the account, fetch its active stories on our own server, and stream the media back through our proxy. Your browser never talks to Instagram, and you are never asked to log in.
The basics
How Instagram Stories work
- Lifespan
- A story disappears 24 hours after it is posted, unless the owner keeps it as a Highlight.
- View receipts
- The owner sees every account that opened the story from inside Instagram. You never sign in here, so your account is not on that list.
- Access
- Instagram only hands story media to a signed-in session. Ours runs on our server, which is why you never have to provide one.
- Highlights
- Highlights are stories the owner chose to keep. They sit behind the owner's own account, so this tool does not cover them.

Enter a public Instagram username, or paste a profile or story link from the Share menu. The @ symbol is optional.

A quick bot check runs, then our server looks up the account and pulls whatever it is showing right now. Nothing is requested from your browser.

Open any story full screen, move through them with the arrows, and hit Save to keep the original photo or video.

Before you use another story viewer
Never type your login into one
Some viewers ask you to sign in to see more. That hands your Instagram session to a stranger's site, and it is the fastest way to get your own account phished or locked. No tool here will ever ask you for it.
Check what you actually get back
Plenty of sites re-encode a story down to a small watermarked clip, or wrap the download in a chain of redirects. You should get the original file the creator uploaded, nothing added to it.
Private accounts stay private
Any site claiming it can open a private account's stories is either lying to you or breaking into something. We will not do either, so a private account returns a plain no here.

Turn on auto-save
In Instagram, open Settings, then Story, and switch on saving your story photos and videos to your device or archive as you post them.

Use your Archive
Every story you have posted sits in your private Story Archive. Open one and use Save to pull the original back to your device.

Instagram's official Download your information export includes your stories. It is the account-safe way to get everything at once.

Will the owner know I viewed their story?
Your account will not appear in their viewer list, because you never sign in and the lookup runs from our server instead of from you. If you open the same story the normal way inside the Instagram app, you do show up there. That is how Instagram is built.
Do I need an Instagram account to use this?
No. There is no login on this site and we never ask for your Instagram credentials. Type a username and the stories load.
Does it work on private accounts?
No, and it never will. Only the owner's approved followers can see a private account's stories, and we will not try to work around that.
Can I download a story, not just watch it?
Yes. Every story has a Save button that gives you the original photo or video, at the quality the owner uploaded. Nothing is re-encoded and no watermark is added.
Why does an account show no stories?
Either it has not posted in the last 24 hours, or the stories it did post have already expired. Stories vanish a day after they go up, so an empty result is usually just timing.
Are other story viewer sites safe?
Treat them carefully. Many run intrusive ads, some phish for logins, and most re-encode what they hand back. Never type your Instagram password into one, whatever it promises in return.
