ClipDeck is built to need as little of your data as possible. This page states plainly what that means in practice.
No accounts, no Instagram credentials
ClipDeck never asks you to sign in — not to this site, and not to Instagram. There's no account system, so there's no password, email, or profile of yours stored anywhere.
What a pasted link triggers
When you paste a public Instagram link and press Download, that URL is sent to our media resolver — a separate server from the one serving this page — which fetches the file from Instagram's CDN and returns a temporary, signed download link. The link you pasted is not logged or stored after that request completes.
Your "Recent" list stays on your device
The short history shown under the paste field is stored in your browser's local storage, on your device only. It never reaches our servers, and clearing it (or your browser data) removes it completely.
IP address and rate limiting
To keep the tool usable for everyone, requests are rate-limited by IP address. That check happens in memory on the server handling your request and is not written to a database or shared with any third party.
No tracking cookies, no third-party analytics
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not run third-party analytics scripts today. If that changes, this page will be updated to say so before it happens, not after.
