Guide
How to Download from Instagram
The same three steps work for every content type — only which tool you paste the link into changes.
- 1
Open the post and tap Share
On the Instagram app, open the Reel, post, or profile you want, tap the paper-plane Share icon (or the ••• menu on a profile), and choose "Copy Link." On desktop, right-click the post and choose "Copy Link," or copy it straight from the browser's address bar.
- 2
Paste it into the matching tool
Use the tool built for that content type — a Reel link goes into the Reel Downloader, a profile link into the Profile Picture Downloader, and so on. Pasting into the wrong tool still usually works, since every tool resolves whatever the link actually contains, but the matching one gives you the clearest result labeling.
- 3
Download the file Instagram serves
Once resolved, you'll see the direct file — or, for a carousel, one entry per slide — at whatever resolution Instagram's own CDN holds. Nothing is re-encoded or upscaled.
